This will be a part of a longer course for which they will charge you. By now, however, they will have established a need in you for their help and you are almost certain to sign up.

Be very careful regarding this situation, as you are probably not in the right frame of mind to make defiant decisions at this point in time. If you feel that you are being pressurised into making a commitment to a fee charging course, it would be wise to talk to a friend or medical advisor before signing anything or handing over any money. There are a lot of free self esteem workshops which are absolutely genuine and have no hidden financial agendas. If you can find one of these then I am sure that you will soon be feeling back on form and on course for a successful and happy life.

So you have gotten up this morning and life seems different. It is not only a new day, but it is a new day in a New Year. Perhaps you have written down many resolutions or maybe you just have ideas in your head that need to be written down. It is only when you try to write things down that they become real. There is a sense of commitment when you create a journal or notebook with your dreams AND the action steps to attain those dreams. Just having things in your head does not lead to a different life. The written word makes you focused and gives a direction to your life.

Create as many new relationships as you can. Look at the people you admire in your immediate sphere get to know them. See if there is anything you can learn from them and what you can contribute to their lives. It is only by giving that you truly receive. Your family is also important. Try to strengthen ties to your family and don’t think that it is a useless exercise. There is a bond there that can support you and make you more stable. People with strong family feelings are usually more secure in their lives. So the combination of relationships is what will keep you stimulated and move you forward in your life.

Even though you make mistakes and get frustrated, do not quit on your goals. It is alright to change your goals if you find yourself truly drawn in a slightly different direction. There is a difference, though, it altering your course and careening from one “great” idea to another. Following what you love to do will create success, it is oftentimes just the methodology that needs to be changed. This way you can meld the personal and the work pieces of your life.

You may be in a job or you may have your own business. Either way, you can incorporate these strategies into your life to create change. The way you approach your work and the way your personal life, should create a river that has many streams feeding into it. Think of that picture and work on the streams so they make a stronger river that represents your life.
